Is there anything in this life that inspires total, complete, seething hatred as much as citing legitimate statistics on child abuse?
People react poorly to my citing Health & Human Services reports which prove the majority of violence against children is committed by women in general and mothers in particular. It's "misogyny" to want to protect children from violent women.
Some things I will never understand.

Still Taking Commissions
I'm doing well despite the current state of the union. However, because the economy is in crap shape, I'm cutting my commission fee by 20% if anybody wants something. What used to cost $50 now costs $40, and so forth. Drop me a line. To clarify (since some have asked), I'm not hard up for cash. I'm adjusting my commission fees to give a break to folks who want something.
Neverending Story
I was there for the original in 1984. Even paid twice to see it in the cinema before it came out on VHS. Bought the soundtrack back in the days of LPs, played the grooves off of it (and discovered German jazz saxophonist Klaus Doldinger in the process). Read the book, and was very surprised to find the movie only covers the first half or so--there's SO much that happens after that. In the last couple of years a friend in Germany helped me get the extended version, in English, on blu-ray. This film made a profound impact on my life when I was a nipper, and would strongly influence me as an artist and storyteller for the rest of my life. Unfortunately director Wolfgang Petersen has since gone on to his reward. I'm very happy to see they're doing a special showing in cinemas for the 40th anniversary. If you've never seen it, please do this coming July. And if you have, see it again! https://www.fathomevents.com/events/the-neverending-story-40th-anniversary/
Das Produkt
You may have noticed I've been a bit more productive lately. The good gnus is that they cut hours across the board at work and I now have a four-day week, which has me going gangbusters on free time. Second reason is that I've got a smaller iPad which I've been taking on various short trips and using to sketch whilst waiting in various places for service or sharing lunch with other creative people. And third, with the extra time and resources I can focus on things I like to draw: family tenderness, Boys Having Adventures (a theme I've enjoyed since I was very young and read Choose-Your-Own-Adventures and other pulps), exotic fantasy and whatever else comes to mind. Not sure how long this binge will last, but hopefully it'll please you all. Thanks again for watching and supporting!

You mean that you're assuming that feminism wants all women to be Mary Sues and whatnot, making yourself unaware of the cries against machismo within women being shitty mothers and spouses in favor of your convenient narrative of "they're just idiots, I guess."
Yes, you're right - it's not misogyny to say that women have been particularly bad mothers. But it is misogyny to pin the blame on this not on the fact that people teach everybody that it's okay to be a macho violent asshole as long as you get some benefit (I'm trying so hard not to say "toxic masculinity" because you'll shoot down what I have to say) on a women's rights movement and not speak out when your friends make variations on the "dindu nuffin" joke and continue your echo chamber of "feminism is, like, the worst thing ever." And you're crossing a fine line between being frustrated that people ignore these reports in favor of keeping the Madonna/whore complex alive in parenting....and outright saying that women (specifically, left-leaning women) are just namby-pamby morons who actually want female supremacy. Because that's all I've seen you imply in your journals, both on FurAffinity and here. Hell, your jokey "worst of 2014" list, where you went ahead and disseminated the proven-false-time-and-time-again narrative of Zoe Quinn sleeping with journalists to get good reviews (even Gamergate gave up on that crap), has that undercurrent of "I hate Republicans/conservatives but I REALLY hate Democrats/leftists."
I want to live in your blue-and-orange world because I'd finally understand you for once.
