Heh, brings back some fun memories of watching the show, too 
I didn't watch it TOO much, but Presto was my favorite character back then so it's very fun to see him pop up in this! Made me immediately recognize it. I can't tell if the characters just really fit well with your style, or if you were trying to mimic the art style of the show... Either way, it's a very fun picture. Thanks for sharing it

The show had different animators for each episode, and often the character design & animation changed radically from one ep to the next. The single *worst* one was The Hall of Bones, for instance. So... yeah, a little of each.

"City on the Edge of Midnight" is the absolute best episode of all. Rahmoud is my favorite guest character on the series.
The only character I wished they would have brought back for a second episode as well. I could see them meeting him in Kadish, throwing off their old lives and growing up under his fostering. Later they could return to the ordinary world the same age as they left, ala Lion, Witch & Wardrobe.
Just kidding.
