Okay, I've had the tablet for about two weeks now. It's phenomenal, to put it mildly. It's decreased my work time, but also added new dimensions to the production process. With layering, I can change all sorts of things if I find I'm unhappy with them along the way--couldn't do that with traditional works without major alterations to the look of the work.
Still, it's cathartic. I'm finding that I get a lot of support from other artists who're using the format, and that's almost unheard-of. Mind you, most of the artists I consulted in the early days of my time in furrdom were quite stingy with their advice, if not disregarding me altogether (tho that had more to do with their political leanings--if you weren't a Clinton fan, you were trash).
The majority of work I'm getting right now is non-furry, tho I also haven't solicited furry commissions just yet. Still working on getting fur textures right.
Thanks everybody for being patient with me while I make this transition.
